I am a retired Marine that decided sailing is what I wanted to do after the service. My background as a Marine was Electronics in Aviation. Some of the high points of my career was being selected to work on the Presidents helicopter and as the Squadron Maintenance Office aboard ship off the coast of Viet Nam. One day we had everything flying and nothing was left on the ships deck. That may have been a record. The Sailboat Company has sold over 525 new boats since starting business in 1980. We can not count the used boats sold because there are too many to count. We are a full-service Dealer, and we can do it all. We are slow on purpose. Doing maintenance on sailboats is like performing maintenance on aircraft. Do it slow and do it right.
Besides selling boats and trailers, we customize boats for special purposes. Our Web pages are full of projects that were designed and produced by The Sailboat Company. Our favorite boats are Com-Pac Yachts. They are designed for our coastal area, and they are quality boats. Customers that own a Com-Pac normally can not find another brand of sailboat worth buying.
